We work to make the dream of homeownership a reality for families in the St. Louis region. The services of the Homeownership Centers in Missouri and Illinois are designed to help families and individuals build and maintain wealth through savings and equity in their homes. Beyond Housing’s Homeownership Center programs are successful because they combine the right mix of group educational workshops and one-on-one personalized services to effectively help families at different places on their road to becoming a homeowner and maintaining or preserving their home.
Catch the Dream – Keep the Dream: Buying a home is the biggest financial investment many people will ever make. In order to help homebuyers in the St. Louis region achieve the American dream of homeownership, Beyond Housing provides education and one-one-one counseling. The services are designed to help you be better prepared to buy and maintain a home and provides information that allows homebuyers to make beneficial choices throughout the homebuying process. Attend our free orientation session, meet with a homeownership counselor to review your finances and credit report, and attend our homebuyers' workshops. You will also receive referrals to Beyond Housing partners including professional lenders, real estate agents, home inspectors and property insurers. Down payment and closing cost assistance is also available to eligible families who purchase qualifying homes in the City of St. Louis, St. Louis County, unincorporated St. Charles County and the cities of St. Charles, Wentzville and O’Fallon in Missouri and most of St. Clair County in Illinois. Beyond Housing operates two separate offices, one in Missouri and one in Illinois.
Homeownership Asset Preservation Initiative (Foreclosure Prevention): With foreclosure rates drastically on the rise nationally and in the
St. Louis region, Beyond Housing is responding by providing services for those currently at risk of losing their home through foreclosure. Our services are a proactive means of counteracting rising foreclosure rates and provide early intervention for mortgage delinquencies and loss mitigation. Beyond Housing is partnering with the Homeownership Preservation Foundation to help families in crisis. Visit their website at
